Haim at Roosevelt Hotel's Tropicana Pool Bar

The LA-based band, Haim, appeared at the Roosevelt Hotel's Tropicana Pool Bar on Saturday, August 23rd where they played a lively DJ set for thousands of fans and hotel guests, leading up to their performance at FYF Fest.  The band played everything, from girl power anthems like, "No Scrubs" and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" to classic party starters like, "What's Your Fantasy?"  They closed out the night with Michael Jackson's, "Man In The Mirror."

Basecamp Share Intricate New R&B Single "Shudder" via Stereogum

Shaped around the seducing vocal of Aaron Miller, “Shudder” displays another string to the weighty bow of BASECAMP. The track, not featured on their upcoming sophomore EP, showcases this trio’s wonderful combination of RnB and intricate production. The resulting debut EP is a study in eclectic RnB- haunting melodies, percussive drums and unpredictable tempo changes creating a refreshing, modern sound. With a music video and remixes from Snorlax, Howie Lee and Twinztrack for “Shudder” set to follow, BASECAMP are sure to finish 2014 with a flourish. Keep an eye out for new music from this exciting trio.
